As America continues to drastically import and purchase from China, China is purchasing and investing in valuable American assets. Some of these assets include energy, entertainment, food, aviation, minerals, land and other businesses. Although we operate in a global economy, the positive short-term gains by American companies selling to foreign investors may lead to negative long-term consequences. Countries such as China are literally buying tangible assets on American soil. This trend could affect commercial prices, resources, supply and demand. When a foreign company or individual owns rights to assets in the Unites States, American citizens could be subject to their conditions. Americans could be at the mercy of market conditions set forth by an entity to whom we are directly competing with on a global scale. For better or worse, China has great influence on inflation, monetary policy and acquisition within our own borders. Teenage drinking is one of the largest social issues among young people today. Although about half of high schools today drink on a regular basis. (CDC) Most of them will say they only drink when they are at parties with their friends. If they started drinking at the age of fifteen there is a six percent chance that they will depend on alcohol when they get older. There are so many different problems with teen drinking that I can talk about. The big one I want to talk about is when teens drive when drinking. They even reported that twenty-two percent have ridden with a driver who had been drinking alcohol. Moreover, I motivated them provide their 100% whenever there were any stuck with some technical and other problems and issues. According to my self evaluation, I am now currently developing communication skills in pure English. Before starting the course of engineering, I was not an adept speaker in English. Currently, I am under vocational training so that I can talk in fluent English much better and communicate with any other people without any difficulty. Collaboration in the project was extremely important in determining the outcome of the project. Most of the project duties were complex and time consuming and it required joint participation of the team members to complete all the deliverables within time. In these aspects, team coordination was necessary to overcome all the challenges and establish a strong foundation of the project. For me, my eagerness to learn worked well. During the entire project, whenever I faced a difficult task, I immediately searched for literature and found out suitable solutions that can address the challenges. My eagerness to learn helped me overcome any significant challenges that were included within my duties in the project. The most frustrating aspect I faced in the project was the lack of my sufficient communication skills. The common language was English and although I have strong English vocabulary, I have poor communication skills. This shortfall of fine frustrated me many times during the project. During a certain activity of the project where 2 of my team members were working, one of the members approached me and asked for help. I went over and analyzed the problems and explained them to the coworker. After that, I instructed him to make suitable changes in the work and do according to my instructions. The process was easy because I already good at having sound technical knowledge that helped me overcome any challenges (technical) during the course of the project. The main difficulty was the language barrier. As the team was built up with diverse cultured team members, the language barrier often occurred as the team members were trying to communicate their ideas for solving some technical problems. The first key change I would like to bring is removing overconfidence from my mind. Having some good quality of technical knowledge, I often become too carried away and get overconfident. The second thing I would like to improve on my English communication skills and vocabulary. This will enable me to contact with project team members without any difficulty. Thirdly, I would like to develop strong mentality for avoiding ignorance and overconfidence while performing the duties in the project. I believe I show moderate behavior in terms of time management. Although I complete my duties within a specific deadline, there are several cases where I crossed the deadline by some time resulting in earning penalties. My best behavior in terms of time management has been early completion of work and during worst cases, I have missed my deadline and penalties were imposed on me. I would like to work for a company that will be able to provide me a challenging role within the field of my study. Moreover, I would like to develop my technical skills further and a job in a suitable company will help me develop my technical knowledge and skills. Programmer Alan Turing Alan Turing was born in London on 23 June 1912. He was the son of Julius Mathius Turing and Ethel Sara Stoney, the youngest of three children, he was born to a distinguished family. His family background includes diplomats and engineers, three of which succeeded to the Royal Society. Alan turing was educated at Sherbourne school, from 1923 to 1931. After which he studied mathematics at Kings College, Cambridge, graduating in 1935 with a B.A. He was elected a fellow of the college on the strength of his paper "On the Gaussian error function", it won a Smiths prize for mathematics in 1936. Turing was brilliant and slightly headstrong, he discovered the central limit theorem for himself, after it had been already discovered and proved. Later in 1936 he went to the United States of America to study at Princeton University for two years with Alonso Church. Turing worked on the theory of computation and in 1937, he presented the paper for which he was to become famous, to the London Mathematical Society. The paper "On computable numbers with an application to the Entscheidungsproblem", proved that a class of mathematical problems existed which could not be solved by automatic machines and introduced the concept of a theoretical "universal" computing machine (the Turing machine). Turing was awarded a Ph.D. degree for this paper by Princeton University. Alan Turing returned to Kings College in 1938 and when war broke out in 1939, he began work for the government code and cipher school at Bletchley Park. In 1946 Turing was awarded an O.B.E. for designing machines to break the German Enigma codes. After the war Turing declined ffer of a lectureship at Cambridge, to join the mathematics division of the National Physics Laboratory at Teddington, where he began to design the general computer called the Automatic Computing Engine (ACE). In 1948 Turing was appointed reader in the theory of computation at the University of Manchester and made assistant director of Manchester Automatic Digital Machine (MADAM). Two years later Turing published a paper in "Mind" entitled "computing machinery and intelligence". In the paper Turing concluded that by his definition of thinking, it was possible to make intelligent machines. uring's last years were spent working at home. In 1952 he published the "Chemical basis of morphogenesis", it applied mathematical and mechanical theory to biology. Alan Turing died from self administered poisoning on 7 June 1954. Alan Turing's place in history was earned by his theory of computation which he worked out in 1936 and 1937.
